Sheep grazing on the Eyre Peninsula
The sparsely populated Eyre Peninsula relies heavily on agriculture, fishing and tourism. The region typically produces around 45 per cent of South Australia’s wheat and around 20 per cent of its barley. Wool production, together with sheep and lambs, is also an important ecominc activity.
