Glacier Point 1
Glacier Point is a viewpoint above Yosemite Valley, sitting at an an elevation of 2,199#160;metres, almost a 1000 metres above the valley floor. The point offers a superb view of Yosemite National Park's Yosemite Valley, including Yosemite Falls, Half Dome, Vernal Fall, Nevada Fall, and Clouds Rest.br/br/Yosemite National Park reaches across the western slopes of the Sierra Nevada mountain chain in central California. It is internationally recognized for its spectacular granite cliffs, waterfalls, clear streams and Giant Sequoia groves. Yosemite is one of the largest and least fragmented habitat blocks in the Sierra Nevada, and the park supports a diversity of plants and animals, with almost 95% of the park being designated wilderness.
