Beech forest of the lower Clinton Valley, Milford Track
The track gently meandering through beech forest in the lower Clinton Valley on the first days hike on the Milford Track. The Milford Track has long been described as "the finest walk in the world". Located in southern New Zealand, this 3-4 day journey crosses a steep mountain pass pioneered by Quintin Mackinnon in 1888 entering into the heart of Fiordland.
