Oamaru's Friendly Bay playground playground is one of the most unique you could find! Recently opening in 2011, it is located next to the historic Victorian precinct. The kids love this exciting and modern playground which includes; swings suspended from a giant penny farthing, a slippery pole accessed from an armoured elephant, a giant hamster wheel, plus a seriously steep slide.
